8-month commitment and occurs on Saturday mornings from 7am to 11am. (Sign in starts at 6:30 am)

INITIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR INITIATES AND PARENTS/GUARDIANS

1. Age 12 - 15. 

   • Potential Initiate must be 12 by Orientation

   • Potential Initiate who is 16 by Orientation will not be accepted.

2. Attend the mandatory orientation

3. Submit a completed application and signature packet

4. Attend the intake interview

5. Both Parent(s) and Initiate must attend the orientation and intake interview

6. Pay $100.00 initial fee (one-time fee).

• Please note: The initial fee of $100.00 is a one-time fee that helps the ministry supplement some of the costs incurred during the program year. This fee is nonrefundable 2 weeks after enrollment. Some of the areas the fees are used towards are: recruit t-shirt, recruit ID badge, photocopy services, gas for transporting recruits in FCBC vans/buses for outings, graduation custom garment and bible presented during graduation.

7. When is the Mandatory Orientation? - It is the 1st Saturday of every March

8. When is the first day of the program? - First day of program day starts on the 2nd Saturday of every March

   • Date: Saturday, March 14, 2026

   • Time: Sign in starts at 6:30 am. 7:00 am is considered late.

   • Location: FCBC, Trinity Bldg parking lot, East

9. Last day for sign up - 3rd Saturday in March

   • Saturday, March 21, 2026

10. What is the attire for the first day of the program? - Light Steel Gray - crew neck sweatshirt and sweat pants  (no hood, pockets, zippers, or logos)

11. Attendance - Drill and classroom attendance are mandatory to graduate!  Initiate must be in attendance at a minimum of 70% of the program in order to participate in the graduation held in October.

12. What if my son plays sports? We understand your son may have to leave early for practice or games. However, in order to graduate from the program, they have to be at ROP 70% of the time during the program year. 

13. Parent Commitment to ministry

    • Attend monthly mandatory parent meetings

    • Must volunteer one 7am-11am program day of each month, with your team and serve the ministry

    • Must turn in Initiate Progress Reports weekly
